The Best Science Toys For
Kids According To Our
WonderPals

June, 17 2021

Science… It can be a pretty intimidating subject for some. Moms and dads are you also trying to remember those school science lessons from your childhood? Especially when the little ones come home with some very scientific looking homework? Don’t worry, we’re in the same boat…

Luckily, the WonderPals at Wonderdal, the Interactive Edutainment Centre at Hazendal Wine Estate are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to all things scientific, specifically the best science-based toys for all of those budding little scientists. That’s right, toys can actually be educational and FUN at the same time!

Educational toys of any kind, specifically those of a scientific-nature, are designed to introduce or reinforce a child’s particular knowledge of a specific subject. Adding a FUN or element of play to the mix is a great way to help the little ones understand the different levels of a certain topic.

Some toys of the science-genre could include child-friendly lab equipment or child-safe materials to conduct basic chemistry experiments. Many will also incorporate or make use of multimedia, in the form of an app or audiovisual supplements (Youtube channels). We definitely love a bit of supervised tech-inclusion into the modern world of science *a big thumbs up here*.

We asked the WonderPals to compile a list of the Best Science Toys For Kids and to be honest, we’re feeling a little brainier already simply by reading through this list!
