Each Wonderdal experience lasts for two hours, an ideal length of time for kids to explore the many fun activities at Wonderdal.

Can kids bring their own safety socks?2020-09-10T08:20:45+02:00

Wonderdal’s safety socks have been specifically designed with Wonderdal’s apparatus in mind.
For every kid’s safety, Wonderdal’s safety socks are compulsory. Kids are welcome to bring their clean socks along when they return for another adventure.

My child is turning 5, can I accompany him/her?2020-09-09T10:25:36+02:00

Unfortunately, as per our Ts and Cs, Wonderdal has be designed for children between the ages of 5 and 13 and is not suitable for children older or younger.

Do I have to purchase a ticket and accompany my child?2020-09-09T10:25:36+02:00

Wonderdal provides full supervision for the two-hour duration.  It is therefore not necessary for adults to accompany their child.

Should you wish to accompany your child, you will need to purchase a ticket.

What can I do while my child is at Wonderdal?2020-09-09T10:25:36+02:00

Visit the Babushka Deli, enjoy some wine at the tasting room or visit the Marvol Art Gallery.
Hazendal has an array of cultural and culinary offerings for parents to enjoy.

Are pets and guide dogs welcome?2020-09-09T10:25:37+02:00

At Wonderdal the Amuki are your friends, so please leave all furry friends at home. Only guide and service dogs are invited into Wonderdal and the larger wine estate area.

Wonderdal takes no responsibility for any lost or stolen property.

Yes, you can book either online or when you arrive. Our online booking process is easy, so why not get it done in advance? We can’t guarantee there will be space available if you arrive without a booking.

Each visitor needs to bring their own ticket and can only use it during their booked time slot. If you’re like us and want to save the environment, we accept digital tickets on your phone too.

All our staff go through first aid training and first aid kits are located at central positions throughout the venue.

Do we need to wear shoes?2020-09-09T10:26:55+02:00

Wonderdal is a no-shoe-zone, so you’ll need to buy a pair of our special safety socks for R30. You take these home and can bring them along next time. We’ll store your shoes safely for you, so don’t worry!

What should we wear and bring?2020-09-09T10:26:55+02:00

The Wonderdal experience includes physical activities such as climbing and crawling, so kids need to wear comfy clothes. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen as we also have some outdoor activities!

No food or drinks are allowed inside Wonderdal, but Hazendal Wine Estate has many culinary options to keep you happy. Have a read here!

When should we arrive and what do we have to do?2020-09-09T10:27:54+02:00

Please arrive about 30 minutes before your booked time slot so that we have plenty of time to get you ready for admission. If you booked online, please bring your booking conformation in order for your ticket to be issued. Walk-ins need to complete an indemnity form and make payment for their ticket to be issued. If you’re running late, contact us on +27 21 2055624. After registration you will receive a bracelet and socks. Your session will last for approximately two hours.

How safe is it?2020-09-09T10:27:54+02:00

When you book, you need to read and accept our Terms & Conditions. When the children are dropped off at the Centre, we will ask the adult who brings the children to confirm who will collect them. The person who will collect the children will be sent an sms with a 4 digit code. When the children are collected, this 4 digit code must be presented. Subject to our Terms & Conditions, children will not be able to leave Wonderdal unless the authorized person is there to meet them.
